This is the final judgment against Panarex ( Pansat ) plus permanent Injunction.


It was agreed that the primary use of the receivers was to be used to receive the Plaintif's signal.


Not a surprise outcome for myself. I think Viewsat is next followed by Sonicview.

I would think this presents a dangerous legal precedent for all FTA manufacturers. Don't they all have firmware programmed in that is needed to decrypt DN after modding?

One defense could be that the firmware was needed for DN FTA channels such as NASA and ION so that's probably the reason those channels are no longer open.

It applies to Pansat receivers but doesn't automatically transfer to others. Its part of the settlement that he was agreed to so not sure it sets a precedent but in general none of the lawsuits are going well with the FTA manufacters.

that is true I meant incredible electronics, however you might want to keep in mind that incredible fta and incredible electronics are pretty close in more than just name, Jasprit the owner of fta is fusse's biggest customer/partner, Incredible electronics ariza location in coquitlam was turned into incredible fta location soon after Fuss became a ratt. not even the ph number changed , Also regardless of how many people have ratted out fta and electronics fta itself (jasprit) never runs afoul of the law (not me ratting them out, but many established low key competitors of thiers, have told me that they have ratted fta (jasprit) out. THey said they cannot figure out why jasprit is untouched even after 4 years,
1) His banner ads are used as evidence in very first case against kwak page 12 I beleive 2005?,
2) myself and many others have seen him advertise as "the direct source" and "taxes included pricing" (illegal in BC).,
3) he demonstrates dishnet channels coming in via iks under the counter to strangers several times over last 5 years
4) No one could understand why he is not busted but if his partner fuss is a rat then we all know informants don't go down.
5) stages robberies of his own store and sold clone Motorola and nokia cell phones,

This guy is trying really hard to get busted and does not, now that we know his co -marketer fuss is a ratt then that explains it and makes me suspect he is a informant as well.

Unlike Ravinath who kind of keeps low key, this guy drives a top of the line Porsche bright white as do his elderly parents, kind of draw attention to himself,

only thing that I know has happened to his is revenue Canada has investigated his "taxes included" and demanded their cut, just like the gov and bev wanted their cut from fuss, I'm just saying "be careful" keep in mind this is in the same province and area where CANAM satellites is getting busted for the last 5 years and they sell fta when I checked their site in 2008, pansat they sell. Same area, one guys keeps getting busted one not, and the one not takes over assets and location and ph number from another that gets busted and goes rat, something is fishy here.

if you are looking for legal information on the Vancouver incredible they are registered as sfs solutions inc Jasprit Mathur President, this is information found freely on the web, including from a number of complaints at the Better business bureau Vancouver website , also where he has listed all same info on sites himself dating back to 2004.

Maybe they have been after this guy and there are legal docs out there unknown to us, otherwise makes no sense, since all other high volume players have been busted

To the best of my knowledge Fuss and Jas were not partners. The way I understand it is that Jas brought the Ariza location in BC from Fuss and just keep the phone number.

why would he keep the ph number of a rat or busted guy? chances are "they" are listening, after reading the legal docs here, jerry gee lee a former intellignece officer for the US military gets people to buy stuff visits people himself, gets them arrested, goes to court gets people to entrap dealers and websites by sending them emails and offers of iks hubs to try looks at dishes on dealers/distributors premise and where they are aimed, checks those against dishnet or bell data base, for years to see who is subbing there if any, searches databases to find peoples names addresses, sin, birthday etc etc works with the fbi, rcmp etc etc, so it is not hard to assume that he is tapping a known guy who he already busted's phone lines , so why would anyone with a brain and totally on the hacker side not get that changed?? last I checked when I used to frequent the ariza location it was running dead for 12 months with little or no sales. (only to buy dishes for my legal sub ;) ) makes me want to be carefull all this information abotu where I frequent, how I pay, and what I say while on camera there.

The buying of the store happened before Dave was known to give affidavits. However if retaining a known phone number is better for continued business then it makes sense to me he would keep the number.

I guess, I would not take the chance though since Jas already advertises on radio, tv and newspapers, I would think his number is more known, whereas fuss's store was a ghost town for 12 mo leading up to the sale, The mgr who knows Jas while fuss still owned it told me fuss actually was visited for a few days by cops/bev in Ont (they seized things and went through with a fine tooth comb) in the spring of the years of selling the store, store was sold in Aug time frame realistically Fuss was already a rat by the time he handed store to other incredible ad month are passed between the two things, so while the general fta public did not know fuss was a rat by july/aug of 2008 , cops, bev, dish, jg lee, and others like his mgrs knew as well. The mgr was close to Jas so I'm sure if he told me then he told Jas, also from what I hear, money transacted was pennies on the dollar, Jas kept fuss's staff on for a few months. Under British Columbia law that means the original entity continues since nothing really changed, except the name of the owner.

Jas has cameras and audio recording in his store, as well as credit/debit terminal, which makes me think he can use that for leverage when if they get around to him both rex and jas are on main roads and cater to a huge market and are known, so why only rex??
