Echo Files Lawsuit Against Dish Jockey

The case was originally under seal but was lifted. They were able to get a writ of seizure with US Marshalls. The case shows some under cover buys of receivers and dongles. There is no indication that the equipment was sold loaded. The evidence shows that the undercover buy person sent an email to Dish Jockey a few days later seeking help to access a site to get files. Dish Jockey responded with providing the help needed. This happen on another occasion also. To me this case directly deals with the issue of assisting. The defendants did not sale loaded receivers nor post the hacking file but directed the agent to get help needed on sites to download the files needed to get the FTA receiver to receive the Plaintiff's signals.
