Digital Stores In Toronto Visited & Closed, Is Nfusion Now In Trouble ?

Its been reported that the Digital stores in Toronto were visited by way of legal court order and are all now closed. Digital was/is a nfusion dealer or the Canadian Nfusion distributer in Canada. I am not quite sure where they fit in. If this is the Canadian arm of Nfusion could this be the start of the legal attack on Nfusion keep in mind the closure of Blindscan's site a few months ago which was as I understood it as being the official Nfusion site. Here is what is reported on other sites.



31 Mar 2009, lawyers and Private Investigators working for B E L L Ex Press conducted a "series" of raids, on the Digital Stores, (they are the Canadian Distributor/importer for nFusion). The raid at the Newmarket store was observed by eyewitnesses last evening at approx 8:30 PM.

It was observed that documents, equipment, and other items were removed from the premises by the investigators.

nFusion has been VERY vocal about their "card sharing" work around of the NAG 3 system, and this no doubt led to these raids, and subsequent seizures.

So it is xxxxx position that ALL nFusion users should be aware of these raids and take the "appropriate measures" to ensure your privacy and security.

We will NOT permit any discussion of this as there will no doubt be questions asked which would violate our site RULE # 1, but it important that the end user have this information and also are made aware of where, and WHO conducted this raids.

Remember there is NOTHING illegal about using your nFusion for it's INTENDED purpose, TRUE FTA, but you will, (and should), load ONLY the factory file onto your unit as per the manufacturer's recommendation.

As more info comes to light we will as always ensure our members are notified and kept abreast of the issues.

Better to be safe than sorry.

Of course it would also NOT be a good idea to place ANY orders for nFusion products at this time, (especially through the website where YOUR info will be recorded), until things are straightened out

There has been more lawsuits filed and think some of the smaller dealers have closed. Unless there is a fix I think we are going to see that trend as without interest from the public sales have slided and the costs to operate will not be met unless they devisify into other products not easy to do.

Think NF is scurrying around trying to make heads or tails of this...
If they took down someone in the US/CA that was operating the NF server..and SS is just left to fiend for himself and dealing with the public...it'll sure be interesting to see what transpires. NF owners are getting pretty stagnant with their stance on "The Future Is Here" <---IKS.

I just believe that NF installing that security chip into their hardware is going to really set them apart in a court battle, when they face one ..IF they face one.

Directly tying themselves to the 3rd party by installing security chips that only let NF boxes connect to that server..and the S/W on that server to look in the hardware for that security measure when the end-user connects

We could see a very large scale alliance between NF and providers when they finally get a guilty verdict...didn't those chips have a serial number?
Serial # linked to a sale..search the server logs to see which serial numbers connected, cross-referenced to who bought box..paper trail is done for them..so is the work. It's like a homing device...

Just my speculation..I never liked the idea of how NF worked, or any other IKS solution. I laughed when I read posts that said "IKS is the future, and it's here to stay."

The only thing possible is a small group of TRUSTED people running on IKS, PRIVATELY. That is all I believe can ever be truly safe with IKS....and then it isn't safe...

Yes they might be open, but they are not selling nfusion products nor are they in possession of a dealer number. So I would think that everyone that bought from them are now outta luck as per the warranty information regarding the retail outlet and the nfusion resellers number obligation. Once the number is revoked, the warranty is null and void.

My password for this site was ALSO changed today, when I tried to get in, I had to do the "forgot password" crap and change it. I don't know what's going on here, but something is DEF fishy with this site's database.

Nope. The last time this happened, I SPECIFICALLY made my password on here some mixed up shot of words and numbers that would take someone literally knowing me, my 3 kids names, date of births for all 3, wifes full name, and year, make, and model of our first car. Of course I used partials and abbreviations for some, but the password was still about 18 characters long. There's no way it could be guessed, and I did NOT ever use it on another site. I made sure of that.
