LMAO, you're looking at the foreign address. It's connecting to port 84 from port 4968. and that's not a full netstat. Do a netstat -an, that's full. I'd say adware but that's just a guess.

i doubt you have a clue so ill tell everyone. SYN_SENT means that an application has made a request for a TCP session, but has not yet received the return SYN+ACK packet. So..... for those of us who rode along side fredo55 on the short bus, it mean that the pc has made a request for 2 way communication session with another pc. In this case a DSL connection.

So now... if we go with fredo55 and say this is adware we must ask ourselves why is it waiting for a two way communication session (not how 99.9% of adware works) but if we can some how convince our self’s that that is adware we than need to ask why to a DSL connection? There’s no chance in hell that is adware.

As for the netstat that is a full list of active connections. The - a will show us all connections which means active and non active also the -n does nothing more than displaying addresses and port numbers in numerical format.
