Cookie timeout is not set to all day, so I am not sure where you get these facts, I have massive traffic here, no way to work around that. if someone properly logs out then they will not appear in the list, otherwise cookie timeout is set to 30 mins, is that too long for you?

Sorry, get used to it. GrimReaper had it correct. I have been saying this all along. You will be called an "Asshole" for asking that question. See: reply from NewCardDick

Kind of weird that there are so called over "1500" people logged in an NO... I mean ZERO posts... WTF is up with that ???
Where are all these people??

the over 1000 guests can not post until they register.

The 424 registered people that are logged in are either lurking, or posting, click on "view new posts" to see who is posting.

Is there anything else that I could help you with, you asshole?

NCD enuff of that BS, I've logged out from home gone to my office and returned to the site. Now were talking 2 seprate computers,2 seprate Ip's and 2 totally different locations, and low and behold who do I see on-line GrimReaper, and to top it off it was 6 hours later. So the way I see it you either have the cookies set at 12 hrs or 24 which is it?

Yeah,Yeah you'll probably say I don't know how to log out,LMFAO.

Yea, same thing here, been on the forum long after I had physically logged out only to see that I was still here from another location.

Curious too, I have checked the forum states, the link at the top of the main forum, it gives the current time at the top and pretty much what everyone is viewing, have seen up to a six hour difference between the current time and a members last activity, 30 minute time-out my ass.

Just a ploy to make the site look busier than it actually is, that is funny too, you would think "the greatest" dss related site on the net would actually have more people posting. Face it, if it weren't for the trouble makers posting, there would be only a handful of posts each day.

How sad is it that with all the people that actually come to check out the site once a day that only 12 members are posting. I guess the other 5000 members are so shocked at how great this site is they forgot how to type :)

At this rate I can see this being the first site to ever reach 100,000 members and only have 5000 posts.
