DishSOS (Dss-Canada) and associate face the law.

NewCardNews Field Reporter
June,22,2004

A NewCardNews.net Investigation has come up with the latest in a string of answers in high demand about recent website closures. NewCardNews' Amanda Sims brings us this following report.

Last Month FBI field agents from the Miami office, closed in on Port St.Lucie based Mike Greco in a second phase of Operation Decrypt, ultimately named, Operation Decrypt II.Greco, known to many as "DssCandy" operated such sites as big-gs-sat and Dishsos(dss-canada). He was arrested while providing illegal services to an agent who had befriended Greco over a year ago.Greco and an associate apparently sold hu programming to the undercover FBI agent last may on four separate occasions. Greco's associate, Spencer Ray was also placed under arrest buy agents carrying out Operation Decrypt II.

Ray who has prior convictions for DUI offences, runs a fishing tour service in Gainesville Georgia and is known to friends as "Fishing Fool". Ray is alleged to have owned and operated several websites that offered satellite piracy products and services and must answer to his accusations before Florida courts in late December of this year. Further investigation led to the massive uncovering of several obscene adult websites, depicting acts of urination, bondage and simulated rape. Ray is no stranger to intellectual property theft allegations, as he was sued in federal court in November of 2002 by a US based adult website content provider.

While Greco denies ownership of any websites that sold products or services, records found by FBI officials on computer hard disks prove otherwise and link him directly to several websites, some dating as far back to the year 2000. Both individuals also face multiple counts of mail fraud charges based on using the US postal system to fund their criminal enterprises and shipping numerous electronic piracy devices through US mail. An inside source at the Justice department has informed us that the civil remedies and consequences handed down by satellite provider Directv have not been effective and there are plans to launch criminal investigations on several high ranking members of the websites allegedly operated by Greco and Ray. Charges allege in the indictment that between the dates of October 2001 and July 2002, Spencer ray and his associates cashed several checks from the same source totaling over $270,000 US. All the checks were in denominations less then $10,000 US thus avoiding financial reporting requirements.

US law makes the intentional avoidance of federal monetary transaction reporting requirements, a violation of US federal money laundering act which carries twenty years in prison per offence

Greco Was unreachable for comment at time of writing this article. Ray declined to comment, but insisted that we speak to his lawyers and to never contact him personally again.

That's not cool I know one of the guys you mention in the article. He has a gag order in place, you guys can get in some major hot water for making those details public. A gag order is serious and that means that even the accused can not discuss the matter. I only know about it because we were friends since high school and he entrusted me with basically everything you just whored out for the world to read on your site.

Take it off or you will be in violation of a serious gag order imposed by a federal judge.

I urge anyone reading this to forget you ever seen it

Prove to me there is a gag order in place then maybe , just maybe I might do something.. Other wise, this story stays and everyone deserves to know the truth. NCN is here to get the true grit to the public, we don't pussyfoot around so called gag orders.

Show me proof bussy, otherwise, this info will continue to spread like wildfire. Just cusious, which person in the article is your friend? Or are they both friends of yours, perhaps you can give some more input that we can add to a followup story?

The sites server was in Argentina.
These two got pretty greedy.
As for a gag order, only the defendants have a gag order.

Hmmm... lets see... The original article says, "while providing illegal services to an agent who had befriended Greco over a year ago." So it was a "friend" who busted them.... okay.... and bradical claims he's "a friend" of one of these guys... AND he's telling you to pull the article because there's a gag order... I dunno about you, but where I come from, 2+2 still =4

undercover FBI Agent = "friend"
bradical = "friend"
bradical = "???"

Think about it.

Then again, I may be just overly paranoid. But if I'm not.... well.

You may have a point, I see what you mean, but do you really think it would be possible? That is crazy, but yes....possible.

Nope ! He does not write like a Federal Agent. Not anal enough...to much pleading.

blkthorn

What pleading? He basically tries to threaten and intimidate to have the article pulled... If that's not fed tactics, I don't know what is. And come on... He says, oh there's this gag order in place, even the accused can't talk about it... but then goes on to say that his "friend" has in effect violated this gag order, and gave him all the details personally. Then closes with "forget you ever read this article"... give me a break... I smell bacon.

You guys sit here and discuss snappo while he is not here to defend himself?

You all are cowards and you know if he was here, he would slap you all silly.

Don't even bother trying to contact me, I am out.

Uh... actually, the thread has taken a turn of discussing the guy "bradical" who claimed there was a gag order and told NCN to pull the article.... nothing to do with "Snappo" really, just the report that he aparantly got busted.... then a discussion about the alleged gag order on the case, and me suggesting that "bradical" might be a cop, not Snappo. Nobody's badmouthing snappo as far as I can see.... now "bradical" on the other hand..... oink! oink! :8
