Well, it looks like the number online at NCN is inflated five or six times the actual online. Once you log in you stay logged in even after you go offline. Big scam to inflate the traffic numbers. LOL

What do analog traffic stats and members login cookies have in common?

Nothing. Did you think advertizers pay based on the "how many users are online" side block?

Advertizers pay when you can show them analog stats with the number of unique hits, per hour/day/week/month .

Since NCN gets so many unique hits, that brings the price of ad spots right up.

The people who advertise here do not even use the site as members, they are mostlikely too busy taking care of their own sites, unlike you and your little group who have a site but are always hanging out at NCN.

1) If this is true, then how come people including yourself are always posting, are you guys offline too then? Could I be faking your online presence. (you guys are really starting to run out of things to do it seems....)

2) Yes you are correct, Sending targeted bulk mailings is very popular in this and many other online sites. Just ask your buddy and hero Mr.Leaker, he spammed his site for people to come over a few times, yet for some strange reason, he did not have 2000 some odd members register within a week like we did...

3) Wrong, Hence the above post, obviously proof is in the pudding that the spam does not work unless you have a HOT site to go along with it. We only sent one bulk mail out and have come this far, while others desperately try to bring in members but can not compete with NCN because we are unique and we draw the masses with our Commercial Appeal and Very organized structure that we operate under here.

This is a huge operation and the masses are loving it, we give them the news they want all the time, day or night we are releasing headlines for our members to read and comment on. Current content in a website keeps the members happy and gives them reason to keep on coming back for more.

It took someone to come in and dominate this scene since it is full of unhappy campers since the fall of the hu. We picked up other people's stranded members and gave them a new home, a place to hang out and always be suprised by the wonderful content that we offer to them, free of charge, day and night.

Like I have said before, if you can't beat em, join em.

Weather you like it or not, all you guys who come here in the poor attempts to try and discredit NCN are here none the less, if you did not consider us a threat to your site or business, you would not even waste your time here.

Have you ever seen me or any other admin here wasting our time over at your or any other sites out there that are in the community? The answer is no, simply because those other sites really don't matter to us and our EMPIRE that we are building day by day. We simply have no time to waste with amatures in this game.

I don't know about the scam part. But I know that the site that I call home has over 29,000 members and only a very few of em actually make posts. So being as there are only 2,000 here the post counts seem kinda ok to me.

Click on forum stats at the top of the main page and you will see most online users have not been active for up to eight hours. This site is a joke dude, get your head out of the sand or layoff the:weed:

Like I have said before. The easiest thing to do is to click the logout button on the top of the page. I know of at least two other sites that will keep you logged in unless you logout. And 2,000 members is NOT a lot of members. If this site ever gets into the 10's of thousands then that will be a lot of members. Also I don't do drugs so don't make those accusations to me.

skeeta, to these minions, 2000 + new members in about 7 days is a lot, don't forget, they run or are supporters of sites that have a hard time pulling in even 100 new members over a timespan of a month.

The alexa mail only went out to members here that were registered in the control pannel and were all opt-in to get notices from the webmaster via email. Spam is when you send out email to people that did not ask for it before hand.

If you do not want to receive email from here, then log in to your control panel and change the settings to receive email from the webmaster of this board. Otherwise just be a good member and stay in line. You or anyone else who comes in here to Lie about anything NCN related will always be called out and proven wrong.

I enjoy coming to this site and reading the bullshit :)

It is funny to read NewcardDude talk about how great his site is with only 2000 members. It is pretty sad when you have more members then posts. Especially since 1/2 the posts are made by him and his aliasis and the other 1/2 are made by people coming in here to make fun of the site.

Who cares if the site says there are 5000 logged in ... as long as you keep entertaining me I will keep coming back to read :)

I think it is kind of refreshing to come to a site that makes up news stories and provides a healthy dose of flaming.

Even though this site is a joke right now .. I think they are on to something and it will eventually attract some traffic . This gives us something a little different then all the legit sites out there.

Hopefully it will not get hacked and close down like so many others in the past .
