Memphis - A Young man alleged to be one of America's leading computer fraudsters has been arrested in Tennessee, US officials said on Tuesday.

Elias Fenron, 24, who was arrested on Tuesday on a United States warrant in Tennessee, is thought to have been involved in computer crime worth up to 20 million dollars, according to US officials.

"This guy was on the Secret Service's 10 most wanted list. He's definitely a big shot," an embassy spokesperson said, describing Fenron as a "kingpin" in the underground Internet sceene.

Fenron, who is believed to have used a number of aliases, is accused of writing and distributing pirate software that is used mainly in the illegal decryption of American satellite television set top boxes and selling it via illicit websites, he said.

He is also thought to have built a "backdoor" into the software allowing him to hack into his purchasers' financial information and plunder credit card information.

The activities go back at least to December 2001, the US official added.

"It was a very complicated and sophisticated fraudulent scheme," he said.


He will face several charges including copyright violations, trafficking in counterfeit goods and money-laundering.

Rather a slap in the face don't you think. The same day I posted this story, several forums posted it as their news without giving a link or credit back to us.

Now they complain because it is "fabricated" as you state. We clearly asked for respect when stories were copied on other sites, that they give credit where it is due, yet they failed to do so. Now that they look stupid for posting a "fabricated" story, they want to finally make mention of us. :)

Clever merketing at it's best, woulden't you say, if you are somewhat intelligent you would see clearly what has transpired and it happened to work in NCN's favor.

We knew from day one that nobody would respectfully give a link back to us when taking news off our site, therefore we made things a little enjoyable, so that in the end, the site who ripped our content would have no choice but to mention us,(to save embarrasment) the fact that the story came from here. Either way, our name circulates, this brings us more traffic, clever marketing at it's best.

I invite anyone to present us with different findings, we all know that this story was copied from here and posted on dozen's if not more little forums out there, not one of them gave us any credit. How can you say that we are the bad guys here, we just proved how crooked other site owners are, the ones that posted this story as theirs.

Case Closed, now watch the free traffic pour in.

Also, take a look around our site, notice how all the stories we leeched from mainstream media were given due credit and/or a link back to where they came from. NCN is not the bad guy here, we do things by the book and nobody can contradict us on that.

So its safe to say that any news written by NCN is total bullshit and is only made up as a marketing tool . Kinda like the story of the guys spending their hard earned cash on fake P4 fixes. Good job ! That is marketing at its finest .

Lemme guess, you are one of those site owners that ripped our stories off and now are comming here to try and start some sort of beef. Well it really wont do much besides keep a nice thread going for the rest of our members to enjoy reading.

We are paying the server bills, we are paying for everything here out of our pockets, we have not bothered anyone for any money and this side of the site will always be free, that will never change, we have two sponsors now that are paying a nice ammount to be at the top of the site. If you don't like the way we run our free site then just leave , nobody is keeping you here.

But I would really like you to stay, because our motto is, "Talk bad about us or Talk good about us, as long as you talk, we continue to grow."
